What you will Learn: Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) is a gentle, yet powerful system of soft tissue movements and stretches designed to bring the body back into balance. Developed by Scottish physiotherapist Hugh Gilbert, KCR follows a precise protocol that systematically releases tension and restores alignment across the entire kinetic chain from head to toe. This two-day training provides 16 hours of hands-on instruction in the full 23-step KCR protocol, supporting improved posture, ease of movement, and overall wellbeing. Participants gain the skills and confidence to begin practicing KCR immediately. Upon completion, students earn the title of Certified KCR Practitioner.

Learning objectives:

  • Define Kinetic Chain Release™ and identify appropriate applications within their professional scope.

  • Demonstrate accurate assessment techniques, including leg length difference and safety checks.

  • Perform all 23 steps of the KCR protocol with correct sequencing, body mechanics, and client communication.

  • Identify the relevant anatomical structures associated with each technique in the 23-step protocol.

  • Explain how the KCR protocol supports structural balance and whole-body alignment.

  • Integrate KCR into professional practice with attention to safety, ethics, and client-centered care.
