Bio: Jim has been a massage therapist for over 30 years and has been teaching for over 25 years. He designed the Forearm Fusion class to help massage therapists relieve repetitive use injuries and burnout.

Jim co-owns the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks in Pottstown, PA as well as Rapunzelʻs Salon and Spa in Lansdale, PA.

What to bring:

  • Therapists should bring a set of sheets (headrest cover, too),

  • Large towel or blanket if they get cold and

  • massage cream of their preference.

  • This class is mostly hands-on so please wear comfortable clothing.

What you will learn:

Forearm Fusion teaches over 30 techniques that will help therapists use all aspects of their forearm and elbow to provide a customized massage for their clients. Students will also learn how to properly distribute their body weight to provide deep tissue massage with minimal effort and strain.
